The J & K state-owned Pawan Hans Corporation has launched a helicopter service to the Vaishnodevi shrine for the convenience of the pilgrims. Pawan Hans will operate two return flights daily from Jammu and 15 return flights from Katra. The return fare to the shrine, situated at Sanjichhat from here will cost Rs 5,000. The Jammu to Sanjichhat journey will take only 15 minutes by helicopter.
